A black, cracked growth on the trunk of a living birch, hard as coal, rusty-orange inside, with a bitter, earthy flavour and a note of coffee. It grows wild in the forests of Siberia and Eastern Europe, only on living, mature birches, over a dozen and sometimes twenty years. The longer it matures through frost and sun, the thicker its black layer of melanin becomes.
Powder form: dissolve in warm (not boiling) water, coffee, cacao or matcha, or add to a smoothie. Earthy, lightly bitter chaga with a coffee note pairs nicely with cacao and warming spices. In folk tradition Chaga functioned as an everyday daytime drink, including as a coffee substitute, which is why it works well as a warm morning ritual. Consistency matters most: it is an everyday addition, not a one-off “shot”. Do not exceed the recommended daily serving.
For prevention, in powder form, 1-2 teaspoons of extract 3-4 times a week is enough.
A 5/2 rhythm: five days a week, with a weekend break. Full cycle: a minimum of 90 days of regular use. Larger servings are used only in a targeted protocol, under the care of a therapist.
A few hundred reviews, five stars, and we have only been collecting them for a few months. Ask why customers come back. The answer is simple and impossible to fake: what is inside the package is real. It has spirit. Most of the market sells the name on the label. We sell what truly stands behind that name.
We do not take the easy road most of the world takes: give people just anything, wrap it nicely, cash in. We are a family and a family business, and everything starts with who we are as people. We cannot lie. We would not sleep knowing we sold someone a lie hidden in clever words. We want to feed others only with what we choose for ourselves, the way a loving mum or grandma feeds you: with the best ingredient, with heart and attention, never with a lie. A large part of the market wants to profit at the customer's expense. We stand on the other side of that line. We do not want money that is not clean.
Nature creates to nourish us. It knows what it creates and why. In the intelligence of life there are no mistakes. The mistake appears only where man steps in, and there the road splits in two. You can put in heart and patience to draw out the essence of a plant or a mushroom. Or you can modify, disturb, dilute and lie, so it is cheaper and faster.
That is why the first question is not "which mushroom is this", but: who is selling it to you. Who stands behind the company, and with what intention. We show our face. Our intention is what we wrote above, and for us a greater cost than losing margin would be betraying life and disturbing its intelligence for profit. We want to work in harmony with life, respect its wisdom and let it lead. We want to be honest, humble and never stop learning.
We grow as a company, and out of respect for tradition we bring in technology, never the other way round. Our Chinese friends are family to us. At times we live with them, we listen, we learn. For Yi, mushrooms are the love of a lifetime. Yi has money, plenty of it, and sees no value in having more. The value lies elsewhere: in doing good and never ceasing to become better. We walk the same road. We develop technology guided by the heart, always with respect for the intelligence of nature.
We know that a meal from mum or grandma can nourish more deeply than fast food made of the same ingredients. We know it because the difference is love, quality and truth. Something that lies deeper than a product name.
We do not force anything out of the mushroom, convinced that we know better. The mushroom is an intelligence in itself. We listen to what it has to say, and we keep learning. That is why our motto is the technology of nature. We use the best extraction methods and develop them in a bow before the wisdom of nature, to which we keep saying: show us how to do this better.
You pay less and what you mostly get is filler: maltodextrin and mycelium grown on grain that has never seen a living birch.
Many of our customers tell their story with functional mushrooms in two chapters: the extracts before us, and the ones they reach for now. People rarely go back to the former. Our extract is made from the mature sclerotium of Chaga from living birches in Siberia and Eastern Europe, not from mycelium on grain. A 10:1 extract, water and alcohol extraction, blended half and half with powdered sclerotium. An everyday ritual designed for every day, for a full 90 days.
We work exclusively with the sclerotium, never the mycelium, of wild-grown Chaga from living, mature birches in Siberia and Eastern Europe, from certified, controlled harvesting. The water and alcohol extraction has its own order: water draws out the beta-glucans and polysaccharides, ethanol draws out the melanin, triterpenoids and lipophilic polyphenols. Standardised to a minimum of 30% beta-glucans in the extract, confirmed by the Megazyme method. We test every batch at EUROFINS, together with an oxalate measurement. We suggest a minimum of 90 days of regularity. In line with applicable food law, we do not publish information about effects or health benefits. What remains is what we take full responsibility for: a carefully selected, tested extract that people come back to.
This is where competitors usually list what Chaga "does". We leave that space empty, and not because we have nothing to say. The law does not allow it, and we respect the law. If you want to know Chaga as the folk tradition of Siberia and Eastern Europe knew it, you will find it further down this page. The rest will be written by your 90 days, the shortest time we suggest to truly get to know functional mushrooms.
A number on the label can impress, but along the way the mushroom stops being a mushroom. What remains is an isolate, a molecule torn out of context. Our rule is different. Five things must be right before an extract goes into the package.

Sclerotium from a living birch, not mycelium on grain
We work with the sclerotium, which grew on a living birch for over a dozen years, not with mycelium grown on rice or barley. Mycelium on grain does not produce melanin or the full triterpenoid profile, because those arise only in a long relationship with a living birch.
10:1 extract from the sclerotium
Ten kilograms of raw material yield one kilogram of extract. Standardised to a minimum of 30% β-glucans in the extract, measured by the Megazyme method.
Water and alcohol extraction
The core and the melanin crust are treated so that water draws out the β-glucans and polysaccharides, and ethanol the melanin, triterpenoids and lipophilic polyphenols. Water alone skips the alcohol fraction, part of what sets Chaga apart from an ordinary infusion.
No carriers or fillers
No maltodextrin or other fillers. A half-and-half composition: 10:1 extract and powdered sclerotium from the same source. A plant-derived capsule shell.
Every batch tested at EUROFINS
An independent laboratory. Purity: heavy metals and pesticide residues. β-glucans verified with the Megazyme method. We also measure oxalates, a parameter important for the safety of Chaga. Documents available for download in the "Tests" section.
Chaga LONGEVITY is half and half: 10:1 extract and powdered sclerotium from the same source. What the laboratory cannot measure, the body still recognises. That is why we do not choose between precision and fullness. We take both.
More about the difference between the LONGEVITY and PRIME lines in the category description.
Chaga in the LONGEVITY line was designed for a calm, everyday, long-term rhythm. It is most often chosen by people who:
want calm, everyday supplementation in the rhythm of years rather than a one-off shot;
do not care for the earthy taste of the powder but want the same extract quality in a convenient capsule;
complement a varied diet with a functional-mushroom extract and value a transparent composition;
are starting out with functional mushrooms and prefer a gentle, everyday line over an intensive protocol.
Honestly: every body is different and no honest producer will tell you what you will notice and when. The law forbids it, and we would not want to do it anyway. So instead of a promise we give you two things. A few hundred reviews from people who stayed with us after their first package. And a fair starting point: 90 days of daily regularity, because that is how you truly get to know functional mushrooms, not from a single cup. Your experience belongs to you. We answer for what is in the package.
Chaga (Inonotus obliquus), known in Polish as birch black mushroom, is a black, cracked growth on the trunk of a living birch, hard as coal and rusty-orange inside. It is not a classic capped mushroom but a sclerotium, which grows on a single tree for a dozen, sometimes twenty years.
For us it is a 10:1 extract from the sclerotium of living birches in Siberia and Eastern Europe, sealed in a vegan capsule, the same extract as in the powder version, half and half with powdered fruiting body, standardised to a minimum of 30% beta-glucans, every batch tested at EUROFINS together with an oxalate measurement.
The LONGEVITY line: everyday supplementation in a 90-day rhythm, in a form you simply swallow. We promise no effects, we give you a clean raw material and the context to decide for yourself how to use it.

Have a question? Message me.
In the clinic I do not recommend Chaga at the first visit if someone is looking for a quick effect.
It is not that mushroom. Chaga is like the everyday tea drunk for centuries in Poland, Russia and the Baltic countries. Not a one-off shot for a seasonal infection, but a presence in the rhythm of life, day after day. I recommend the capsule to those who do not care for the earthy taste of the powder but want the same extract quality. This is exactly the Chaga I supplement with myself and give to those close to me. Honestly, I cannot give you a better recommendation.
90 vegan capsules. In each capsule: a water-alcohol extract from the Chaga fruiting body (sclerotium) (Inonotus obliquus, DER 10:1, standardised to a minimum of 30% beta-glucans) and powdered Chaga fruiting body in a half-and-half ratio, around 0.5 g of raw material per capsule in total. Capsule shell: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (plant-derived). No fillers. No maltodextrin. No magnesium stearate. 100% vegan.
Chaga is one of the more chemically interesting mushrooms.
It grows wild on living birches and takes part of its characteristic make-up from the tree, which is why it is the result of an interaction of mushroom, tree and time that cannot be recreated in a bag of grain.
It has two layers and both matter: the black outer armour is concentrated melanin, the same type of pigment as in human skin, produced over a dozen years of exposure to frost and sun, while the core beneath the crust is orange-russet and holds the highest concentration of bioactive compounds.
More than 200 compounds have been described in chaga extract: β-1,3/1,6-glucans, melanin, polyphenols, betulinic acid and styrylpyrones, as well as triterpenoids (inotodiol, lanosterol, ergosterol).
Some of them, such as betulin and betulinic acid, Chaga draws from the host birch and accumulates over the years.
The polysaccharides draw most of the attention from researchers of the raw material itself.
This group includes the β-glucans and heteropolysaccharides, among them galactoglucans, whose molecular architecture (simple-sugar composition, molecular weight, the way the chains branch) was characterised in a paper published in “Carbohydrate Polymers” (2017).
Let us be honest: these are studies of the raw material and its molecules, most often conducted in the laboratory, not of our supplement. They do not show that chaga is a medicine or that it resolves any health problem on its own; they show what this mushroom is at the chemical level. Characterising the composition is, for us, a reason to care about extract quality, not a basis for health promises. Bibliographic data: PubMed.
We work only with the mature sclerotium (not mycelium) of wild-grown Chaga from living birches in Siberia and Eastern Europe, from certified, controlled harvesting, from birches over 40 years old. Raw material from outside Poland, because in Polish forests Chaga is under partial protection. We audit the source once a quarter. Standardised to a minimum of 30% beta-glucans, raw material carrying the EUROFINS laboratory-group quality mark, every batch tested for, among other things, heavy metals, pesticide residues and oxalate content. Producer: ALOHA WEALTH AND WELLNESS Sp. z o.o. The product is notified to the Chief Sanitary Inspectorate (GIS) in line with Polish food law.
We work with the fruiting body (sclerotium), which grew on a living birch for over a dozen years, not with mycelium grown on rice or barley. Mycelium on grain does not produce melanin or the full triterpenoid profile, because those arise only in a long relationship with a living birch.

No maltodextrin or other fillers. Inside there is extract and powdered fruiting body, nothing more. A plant-derived shell.
An independent laboratory. Purity: heavy metals and pesticide residues. Beta-glucans checked by the Megazyme method. We also measure oxalates, a parameter important for the safety of Chaga. Every batch has an individual certificate.
Brands compete today over who has a bigger number on the label. We do not play that game. Standardisation to a minimum of 30% beta-glucans is our floor, verified in the laboratory. A higher marketing number usually means either a dishonest measurement method (beta-glucans counted together with α-glucans from grain-culture starch), or lower raw-material quality somewhere else in the process. We are not selling you a number, we are selling a carefully selected extract that we make as if for ourselves.
Raw material from certified, controlled harvesting in Siberia and Eastern Europe, from mature birches over 40 years old. Never from Polish forests, because in Poland Chaga is under partial protection. We audit the source once a quarter. The extraction is run by our partner Yi, twenty years in the field, who seeks a balance between the old way (long maceration at low temperature) and the demands of a modern laboratory: reproducibility, standardisation, a certificate for every batch.
In a tightly closed package, in a dry, cool and dark place, preferably at room temperature, away from direct light. Protect from moisture. Keep away from children. Shelf life 24-36 months in the original packaging.
Absolute contraindication: people with active calcium-oxalate kidney stones, a history of such stones or advanced kidney disease should not use Chaga. Chaga contains relatively high levels of oxalates. Consult a doctor before use if you: take anticoagulant or antiplatelet medication (warfarin, NOAC medicines, acetylsalicylic acid), take antidiabetic medication (insulin, metformin, sulfonylurea derivatives), take antihypertensive or immunosuppressive medication, or are planning surgery or a dental procedure (stop the product at least 14 days beforehand). The product is not intended for pregnant or breastfeeding women or people under 18.
Traditional Chinese Medicine
The text below describes Chaga in the context of folk tradition and concepts from traditional Chinese medicine. This is not a scientific claim or a promise of any health effect. Concepts such as a meridian or the resources of the Kidneys do not correspond one to one to Western anatomy or physiology. Treat this section as cultural context.
Chaga is not deeply rooted in the classical Chinese materia medica. Its tradition is stronger in Siberia and Eastern Europe, where from the sixteenth century it was drunk as an everyday tea, and in the nineteenth century as a coffee substitute. The first documented use is attributed to the Khanty people of Western Siberia. Modern interpretations of TCM associate Chaga directionally with protection and long regeneration. This is the tradition of functional mushrooms that Mateusz, the founder of Aloha Fungi and a Doctor of Acupuncture (WFAS), works with day to day.
Energetic profile (modern interpretation): taste bitter; nature neutral to slightly cooling; the meridians indicated by modern interpretations are the Kidneys (肾), Liver (肝) and Spleen (脾). The above describes directional interpretations, not a claim about any health effect of the product. We always position Chaga as the folk tradition of Siberia. We draw on this tradition because it is part of chaga’s story, not because it replaces modern knowledge.
Cultural context, not a scientific claim or promise of effect.
90-day ritual
First days
You swallow 3 capsules in the morning, with water. Five days a week, with a weekend break. This is the stage where Chaga becomes a fixed part of your morning. The capsules are easy to take, so they are easy to remember.
First weeks
You reach for the capsule on autopilot, like a morning routine. It becomes part of the rhythm of the day, not something to remember. Chaga is a mushroom of the patient. First observations usually come after weeks of regularity, not after hours.
A 90-day cycle
A full ninety days. In Eastern tradition, this is how much time you give yourself to observe any protocol or practice. After the cycle you decide: carry on, take a break, return seasonally, or change the protocol.
Reviews come from customers with a verified purchase and are moderated by the independent platform TrustMate. We do not publish opinions in exchange for benefits, nor do we alter their content.
It is a matter of convenience, not quality. Both versions contain the same sclerotium extract, the same half-and-half ratio and the same standardisation to a minimum of 30% beta-glucans. The capsule is for people who do not care for the earthy taste of Chaga or want convenience on the go. The powder is for those who like to add Chaga to coffee or cacao.
The recommended daily serving is 3 capsules, taken with water, preferably in the first half of the day. Larger servings are used only in a targeted protocol, under the care of a therapist.
Chaga works in the morning and during the day. Unlike Reishi, which is traditionally taken in the evening, in folk tradition Chaga functioned as an everyday daytime drink, including as a coffee substitute. If you are looking for a mushroom for evening wind-down, look at Reishi.
Chaga should not be used by people with active calcium-oxalate kidney stones, a history of such stones or advanced kidney disease. This is an absolute contraindication, because Chaga contains relatively high levels of oxalates. A consultation with a doctor is also needed with anticoagulant, antidiabetic, antihypertensive and immunosuppressive medication, as well as before a planned procedure (stop at least 14 days beforehand).
Because mycelium grown on grain does not produce melanin or the full triterpenoid profile. Those arise only in the mushroom’s long relationship with a living birch, over 10 to 20 years. The sclerotium, the black growth on the trunk, is precisely the result of that relationship. Mycelium on rice will not recreate it in a few weeks.
Yes. The capsule shell is plant-derived (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose), and inside there is only Chaga extract and powdered fruiting body. No gelatine, no maltodextrin, no magnesium stearate.
90 days as a full cycle of observation. A pack of 90 capsules at a serving of 3 capsules a day lasts about 30 days of use, roughly six calendar weeks in the 5/2 rhythm, and a few such packs carry you through the whole cycle, for instance in the rhythm of a subscription delivered every 30 days.
Chaga is a long-horizon mushroom; first observations usually come after weeks of regularity, not after hours.
After a full cycle you can take a 2-4 week break and decide whether to continue, return seasonally, or stop.
Yes. Classic synergies: Chaga + Reishi, a day-and-evening axis in the LONGEVITY line; Chaga + Lion’s Mane, morning clarity; Chaga + Shiitake, everyday support. Individual protocol matching during a free consultation.
We will not answer. If we did, it would be an illegal health claim. Chaga is a food supplement, not a medicine. If you are considering it as part of support for a specific condition, consult your treating doctor.
From certified, controlled harvesting in the forests of Siberia and Eastern Europe, from living, mature birches over 40 years old. Never from Polish forests, because in Poland Chaga is under partial protection. We audit the source once a quarter.
Yes. We have a B2B offer for own-brand creators, therapists and venues. Details at the producer contact address.
A food supplement does not replace a varied diet or a healthy lifestyle. This product is not a medicinal product. Do not exceed the recommended daily serving. Not for use during pregnancy, breastfeeding, or by children. If in doubt, consult a doctor or pharmacist.
