Line LONGEVITY · ritual Sleep
Ganoderma lucidum
There are evenings after which it is hard to stop. The head has finished working, the body has not. Reishi is for that moment.
Present in Traditional Chinese Medicine for over two thousand years. It was called the mushroom of longevity and served at the end of the day, not at its beginning. In the language of that tradition, Reishi is the mushroom of balance and calm of spirit, valued by those who understood that a day must have its closing. A measure of Reishi in the evening is exactly that: a ritual of closure. Instead of another stimulus, a moment when the day truly ends. An extract from fruiting bodies, standardised for beta-glucans, dual extraction, every batch tested.

A few hundred reviews, five stars, and we have only been collecting them for a few months. Ask why customers come back. The answer is simple and impossible to fake: what is inside the package is real. It has spirit. Most of the market sells the name on the label. We sell what truly stands behind that name.
We do not take the easy road most of the world takes: give people just anything, wrap it nicely, cash in. We are a family and a family business, and everything starts with who we are as people. We cannot lie. We would not sleep knowing we sold someone a lie hidden in clever words. We want to feed others only with what we choose for ourselves, the way a loving mum or grandma feeds you: with the best ingredient, with heart and attention, never with a lie. A large part of the market wants to profit at the customer's expense. We stand on the other side of that line. We do not want money that is not clean.
Nature creates to nourish us. It knows what it creates and why. In the intelligence of life there are no mistakes. The mistake appears only where man steps in, and there the road splits in two. You can put in heart and patience to draw out the essence of a plant or a mushroom. Or you can modify, disturb, dilute and lie, so it is cheaper and faster.
That is why the first question is not "which mushroom is this", but: who is selling it to you. Who stands behind the company, and with what intention. We show our face. Our intention is what we wrote above, and for us a greater cost than losing margin would be betraying life and disturbing its intelligence for profit. We want to work in harmony with life, respect its wisdom and let it lead. We want to be honest, humble and never stop learning.
We grow as a company, and out of respect for tradition we bring in technology, never the other way round. Our Chinese friends are family to us. At times we live with them, we listen, we learn. For Yi, mushrooms are the love of a lifetime. Yi has money, plenty of it, and sees no value in having more. The value lies elsewhere: in doing good and never ceasing to become better. We walk the same road. We develop technology guided by the heart, always with respect for the intelligence of nature.
We know that a meal from mum or grandma can nourish more deeply than fast food made of the same ingredients. We know it because the difference is love, quality and truth. Something that lies deeper than a product name.
We do not force anything out of the mushroom, convinced that we know better. The mushroom is an intelligence in itself. We listen to what it has to say, and we keep learning. That is why our motto is the technology of nature. We use the best extraction methods and develop them in a bow before the wisdom of nature, to which we keep saying: show us how to do this better.
You pay less and what you mostly get is filler: maltodextrin and mycelium grown on grain that has never seen a fruiting body.
Many of our customers tell their story with functional mushrooms in two chapters: the extracts before us, and the ones they reach for now. People rarely go back to the former. Our extract is made from mature fruiting bodies of red Reishi, not from mycelium on grain. A 10:1 extract, dual water and alcohol extraction, blended half and half with powdered fruiting body. An evening ritual designed for every day, for a full 90 days.
We work exclusively with the fruiting body, never the mycelium, of red Reishi from mountainous, non-industrial regions of China, semi-wild cultivation in the conditions of a managed forest. The dual extraction has its own order: water draws out the beta-glucans, ethanol draws out the ganoderic acids. Standardised to a minimum of 30% beta-glucans in the extract, confirmed by the Megazyme method. We suggest a minimum of 90 days of regularity. In line with applicable food law, we do not publish information about effects or health benefits. What remains is what we take full responsibility for: a carefully selected, tested extract that people come back to.
This is where competitors usually list what Reishi "does". We leave that space empty, and not because we have nothing to say. The law does not allow it, and we respect the law. If you want to know Reishi as Chinese and Japanese tradition saw it, you will find it further down this page. The rest will be written by your 90 days, the shortest time we suggest to truly get to know functional mushrooms.
A number on the label can impress, but along the way the mushroom stops being a mushroom. What remains is an isolate, a molecule torn out of context. Our rule is different. Five things must be right before an extract goes into the package.

Mature fruiting body, not mycelium
We work with fruiting bodies grown on wood in the conditions of a managed forest. Not with mycelium grown on rice or barley, where 70-85% of the final mass is starch from the substrate.
Dual 10:1 extract from the fruiting body
Ten kilograms of raw material yield one kilogram of extract. Standardised to a minimum of 30% β-glucans.
Dual water and alcohol extraction
Reishi requires both media: water for the water-soluble β-glucans, ethanol for the alcohol-soluble ganoderic acids. Water-only extraction skips the ganoderic acids, the very thing responsible for the bitter, full profile of the fruiting body.
Spray drying without carriers
No maltodextrin or other fillers. Composition: 50% extract + 50% powdered fruiting body. Our "filler" is fruiting-body powder.
Every batch tested at EUROFINS
An independent laboratory. Purity: heavy metals and pesticide residues. β-glucans verified with the Megazyme method. Documents available for download in the "Tests" section.
Reishi LONGEVITY powder is half and half: 10:1 extract and powdered fruiting body from the same source. What the laboratory cannot measure, the body still recognises. That is why we do not choose between precision and fullness. We take both.
More about the difference between the LONGEVITY and PRIME lines in the category description.
For those who build for the long run, not for right now. Reishi is not a mushroom for a single evening. It is for people who think about health and wellbeing in a perspective of years and treat a daily ritual as an investment, not a quick fix.
For those who want to close the day. For millennia Reishi was served in the evening, not in the morning. If you are looking for an end-of-day ritual, the measure you reach for as you dim the stimuli, this is your mushroom.
For those who read the ingredients before they buy. If you check whether you are paying for fruiting body or for grain, and who tested the extract, you will recognise in Reishi LONGEVITY what you have been looking for.
Honestly: every body is different and no honest producer will tell you what you will notice and when. The law forbids it, and we would not want to do it anyway. So instead of a promise we give you two things. A few hundred reviews from people who stayed with us after their first package. And a fair starting point: 90 days of daily regularity, because that is how you truly get to know functional mushrooms, not from a single cup. Your experience belongs to you. We answer for what is in the package.

Natural supplementation takes time.
You will not get fit after one training session, and likewise do not expect miracles after the first serving of mushrooms. Reishi, like other functional mushrooms, needs time (the 90-day principle in Chinese medicine). Remember that mushrooms work subtly in the background, building a rhythm and cooperating with the body when we support it regularly, not once in a while. Mateusz Rosa, doctor of acupuncture (title obtained in 2018), TCM therapist, author of the books „The Awakening of Health” and „Supplementation with Functional Mushrooms”.
Serving: 2-3 teaspoons (scoop in the pack), in the evening, added to your favourite drink or meal.
Reishi is traditionally taken in the evening, which is why it fits well into a pre-sleep ritual. Consistency matters most: it is an everyday addition, not a one-off „shot”. Do not exceed the recommended daily serving. Classic synergies: Reishi + Lion's Mane (the evening and day axis), Reishi + Chaga (a LONGEVITY-line classic), Reishi + Cordyceps (Reishi in the evening, Cordyceps in the morning). Detailed advice and synergies in the Reishi category description.
Dual water-and-alcohol extract from the Reishi fruiting body (DER 10:1, min. 30% beta-glucans) 50% + powdered fruiting body 50%. Pack: 50 g. No fillers.
What does the reishi fruiting body hold? Two different groups of compounds that require two different extraction methods. The first are β-1,3/1,6-glucans, water-soluble polysaccharides. The second are ganoderic acids (over 150 type A-Z triterpenes), alcohol-soluble, responsible for the characteristic bitterness of reishi and present mainly in the fruiting body.
On top of that, GLPS polysaccharides, adenosine, ergosterol and peptidoglycans. A water-only extraction skips the ganoderic acids, and an alcohol-only one skips the β-glucans.
That is why we sell neither raw powder nor a single-fraction extract. We do a dual water-and-alcohol extraction and combine it half-and-half with the powdered fruiting body, enclosing it all in a vegan capsule.
Reishi is one of the most thoroughly characterised mushrooms in chemical terms.
A review published in „Biomolecules” (2022) described more than 600 compounds across the genus Ganoderma, with triterpenes as the main group. It is precisely these bitter triterpenoids that give the fruiting body its characteristic taste.
The molecular structure of the ganoderic acids was described in detail in, among others, the „European Journal of Medicinal Chemistry” (2019), and the architecture of β-glucans (molecular weight, branching, triple-helix conformation) and the way such a structure is recognised at the molecular level were examined in a review in „Carbohydrate Research” (2025).
We test every batch of extracts in the independent EUROFINS laboratory, with particular emphasis on purity. We check for heavy metals and pesticide residues. β-glucans are determined by the Megazyme method. Every batch has an individual certificate.
Let us be honest: the above are studies of the raw material and its molecules, most often conducted in the laboratory, not of our supplement. Standardising the composition is, for us, a reason to care about extract quality. Bibliographic data: PubMed.
We work only with the fruiting body (not mycelium) of red Reishi from mountainous, non-industrial regions of China, grown semi-wild. Standardised for a minimum of 30% β-glucans, and we test every batch.
Our extracts contain only fruiting bodies grown on wood in the mountainous regions of China. This difference determines the profile of bioactive compounds, especially the ganoderic acids, whose biosynthesis requires time and contact with wood.
Reishi needs both methods: water draws out the water-soluble β-glucans, ethanol draws out the alcohol-soluble ganoderic acids. Ten kilograms of raw material yield one kilogram of extract. Standardised for a minimum of 30% β-glucans, measured by the Megazyme method.
Brands today race over who has the bigger number on the label. We do not play that game. Standardisation at a minimum of 30% β-glucans is our floor, verified in the lab. Reishi is living matter, every batch can be different. That is why we are not selling you a number, only a carefully selected extract that we make as if for ourselves.
We work in China for substantive reasons: two thousand years of tradition produced an extraction technology that does not exist in Europe. The fruiting body comes from mountainous, non-industrial regions of China, from semi-wild cultivation, harvested at full maturity. The extraction is run by our partner Yi, who has worked in functional mushrooms for 20 years.

Traditional Chinese Medicine
The text below is a description of reishi in the system of concepts of traditional Chinese medicine, developed over more than two millennia. It is not a scientific claim or a promise of a health effect. Concepts such as Shen or the Liver meridian do not correspond one-to-one to Western anatomy or physiology. Treat this section as cultural context.
Reishi (Lingzhi, 灵芝) holds an exceptional place in Chinese tradition. The first written mentions of Lingzhi come from the Chinese herbal Shen Nong Ben Cao Jing, written about 2000 years ago, where it was placed in the highest category of herbs, shang yao, that is, materials regarded as safe for long-term use. Classically linked to Shen (spirit, mind) and the Heart. In tradition it was used in the context of calming the mind and evening regeneration. In Japan, red reishi was reserved for the imperial court for centuries. These are ethnographic facts. They are not a forecast of what you will feel after taking a reishi capsule.
Energetic profile in TCM. Taste (味, Wèi): bitter (苦, kǔ), slightly sweet (甘, gān). Nature (性, Xìng): neutral (平, píng). Meridians (归经, Guījīng): Heart (心), Liver (肝), Lungs (肺). The above is a description of the classification according to traditional Chinese medicine, not a claim about the health effect of the product. This is the tradition that Mateusz, the founder of Aloha Fungi and a Doctor of Acupuncture (WFAS), works with day to day.
Cultural context, not a scientific claim or promise of effect.
90-day ritual
First days
Add 2-3 teaspoons from the pack to your favourite drink or meal.
First weeks
First observations usually come after 4-8 weeks.
90-day cycle
In Eastern tradition, this is how much time you give to observing a practice.
Reviews come from customers with a verified purchase and are moderated by the independent platform TrustMate. We do not publish opinions in exchange for benefits, nor do we alter their content.
It depends on the form. Capsules: 3 a day (about 1.5 g of extract), in the evening, with water. Powder: 2-3 teaspoons added to your favourite drink or meal. Drops: 10-20 in a drink or under the tongue. Preferably in the evening. In a targeted protocol under a therapist's care the serving can be increased. A full cycle of observation is a minimum of 90 days, which is why a subscription works well here.
Inside is the same 50/50 extract. You choose capsules for convenience and repeatability: nothing to measure, no bitterness, easy to take on a trip. You choose the powder if you enjoy an evening ritual with a warm drink (cacao, plant milk) and do not mind the characteristic bitterness of reishi. The powder is also often more cost-effective per serving.
In TCM tradition reishi is an evening mushroom, classically linked to Shen and the Heart, used in the context of calming down. For that reason the traditional practice is to take it in the evening. Taking it during the day is possible, but many customers prefer to keep it for the evening. If you are after morning energy, look at Cordyceps or Lion's Mane.
Yes. The shell is plant-based hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC), without animal gelatine. Inside is the fruiting-body extract and powdered fruiting body, with no magnesium stearate and no maltodextrin. The product is 100% vegan.
Because reishi has two different groups of compounds that require two different media. β-glucans dissolve in hot water. Ganoderic acids dissolve in alcohol. A water-only extract gives you one fraction, an alcohol-only one the other. Dual water-and-alcohol extraction gives a fuller profile of the fruiting body. More expensive and slower, but that is the difference.
90 days as a full cycle. First observations usually come after 4-8 weeks of regularity. After a full cycle you can take a 2-4 week break and decide: continue at a smaller serving, return seasonally in cycles, or stop. The classic LONGEVITY practice is 2-3 cycles a year with breaks.
Yes. Classic synergies: Reishi + Lion's Mane, the evening and day axis; Reishi + Chaga, a LONGEVITY-line classic; Reishi + Cordyceps, reishi in the evening, cordyceps in the morning. Individual protocol tailoring during a free consultation.
We will not answer. If we did, it would be an illegal health claim. Reishi is a food supplement, not a medicine. If you are considering it as part of support for a specific condition, discuss it with your treating doctor.
No. We have studies of the raw material and the purity of every batch (β-glucans, heavy metals, pesticides) carried out at EUROFINS. We do not run clinical studies on effect, because that is not our role. When someone says they have their own study on effect in two hundred people, ask where it is published.
You can, though you will then taste the characteristic bitterness of the extract. If you prefer a form to dissolve in a warm drink, the more natural choice is Reishi LONGEVITY powder, which is intended for that.
LONGEVITY is our everyday line: 50% 10:1 extract and 50% powdered fruiting body, the gentler version for long-term supplementation. PRIME is an 80% extract complex and 20% powder, a more intensive version for periods that demand more. The choice between lines and individual tailoring during a free consultation.
Yes. We have a B2B offer for own-brand creators, therapists and venues. Details at the producer's contact address.
A food supplement does not replace a varied diet or a healthy lifestyle. This product is not a medicinal product. Do not exceed the recommended daily serving. Not for use during pregnancy, breastfeeding, or by children. If in doubt, consult a doctor or pharmacist.
