100% fruiting body · 10:1 extract · Every batch lab-tested
A gelatinous, dark-brown fruiting body with an ear-like shape and a mild, faintly sweet taste, known in Asian cooking for centuries as the mun mushroom. It grows on the trunks and branches of hardwood trees, in shade and humidity, pressed to the wood like an ear laid against bark. The more water it absorbs, the springier and fuller its fruiting body becomes.
Capsule form: the package contains 90 vegan capsules, each holding 0.35 g of Auricularia 10:1 extract. As a preventive serving, take 3 capsules a day. As a therapeutic serving, 6 capsules or as advised by your therapist.
Capsules are best taken on an empty stomach or with a gap around meals, about 30 minutes before eating or 60 minutes after. You can split the daily serving in two, for instance in the morning and the early afternoon; there is no single strict rule about the time of day. Choose a moment that fits easily into your routine and stick with it.
A serving rhythm from Eastern tradition: for prevention, 1–2 capsules a day 3–4 times a week is enough (or, in other forms, 20 drops of tincture, or 1–2 teaspoons of powder, 3–4 times a week). For an intensive course, you take the full daily serving every day. After 90 days you can reduce the serving if the ritual has already settled into your routine.
The basic course lasts about 90 days. In Eastern tradition, that is how much time you give yourself to observe any new practice. Consistency matters most: it is an everyday addition, not a one-off “shot”. Do not exceed the recommended daily serving, and treat the capsules as a complement to a varied diet, not a replacement for it.
A few hundred reviews, five stars, and we have only been collecting them for a few months. Ask why customers come back. The answer is simple and impossible to fake: what is inside the package is real. It has spirit. Most of the market sells the name on the label. We sell what truly stands behind that name.
We do not take the easy road most of the world takes: give people just anything, wrap it nicely, cash in. We are a family and a family business, and everything starts with who we are as people. We cannot lie. We would not sleep knowing we sold someone a lie hidden in clever words. We want to feed others only with what we choose for ourselves, the way a loving mum or grandma feeds you: with the best ingredient, with heart and attention, never with a lie. A large part of the market wants to profit at the customer's expense. We stand on the other side of that line. We do not want money that is not clean.
Nature creates to nourish us. It knows what it creates and why. In the intelligence of life there are no mistakes. The mistake appears only where man steps in, and there the road splits in two. You can put in heart and patience to draw out the essence of a plant or a mushroom. Or you can modify, disturb, dilute and lie, so it is cheaper and faster.
That is why the first question is not "which mushroom is this", but: who is selling it to you. Who stands behind the company, and with what intention. We show our face. Our intention is what we wrote above, and for us a greater cost than losing margin would be betraying life and disturbing its intelligence for profit. We want to work in harmony with life, respect its wisdom and let it lead. We want to be honest, humble and never stop learning.
We grow as a company, and out of respect for tradition we bring in technology, never the other way round. Our Chinese friends are family to us. At times we live with them, we listen, we learn. For Yi, mushrooms are the love of a lifetime. Yi has money, plenty of it, and sees no value in having more. The value lies elsewhere: in doing good and never ceasing to become better. We walk the same road. We develop technology guided by the heart, always with respect for the intelligence of nature.
We know that a meal from mum or grandma can nourish more deeply than fast food made of the same ingredients. We know it because the difference is love, quality and truth. Something that lies deeper than a product name.
We do not force anything out of the mushroom, convinced that we know better. The mushroom is an intelligence in itself. We listen to what it has to say, and we keep learning. That is why our motto is the technology of nature. We use the best extraction methods and develop them in a bow before the wisdom of nature, to which we keep saying: show us how to do this better.
You pay less and what you mostly get is filler: maltodextrin and mycelium grown on grain that has never seen a fruiting body.
Many of our customers tell their story with functional mushrooms in two chapters: the extracts before us, and the ones they reach for now. People rarely go back to the former. Our extract is made from the auricularia fruiting body, the mun mushroom, not from mycelium on grain. A 10:1 extract in a vegan capsule, without fillers and without maltodextrin. An everyday ritual designed for every day, for a full 90 days.
We work exclusively with the fruiting body, never the mycelium, of auricularia from a specialised producer with many years of experience. The raw material carries the EUROFINS laboratory-group quality mark, and every batch is tested for, among other things, heavy metals and pesticide residues against criteria stricter than those required by law. We suggest a minimum of 90 days of regularity. In line with applicable food law, we do not publish information about effects or health benefits. What remains is what we take full responsibility for: a carefully selected, tested extract that people come back to.
This is where competitors usually list what Auricularia "does". We leave that space empty, and not because we have nothing to say. The law does not allow it, and we respect the law. If you want to know Auricularia, the mun mushroom, as Chinese tradition knew it, you will find it further down this page. The rest will be written by your 90 days, the shortest time we suggest to truly get to know functional mushrooms.
A number on the label can impress, but along the way the mushroom stops being a mushroom. What remains is an isolate, a molecule torn out of context. Our rule is different. A few things must be right before an extract goes into the package.

Fruiting body, not mycelium on grain
Many cheap "mushroom" products are in fact mycelium grown on rice or oats, with a high content of starch from the substrate. We work with an extract from the auricularia fruiting body.
10:1 extract from the fruiting body
An extract from the fruiting body at a 10:1 ratio, 0.35 g per capsule.
No carriers or fillers
No fillers, no maltodextrin, no magnesium stearate. A plant-derived capsule shell. 100% vegan.
Every batch tested at EUROFINS
Our supplier is a specialised producer with many years of experience. The raw material carries the EUROFINS laboratory-group quality mark, and every batch is tested for, among other things, heavy metals and pesticide residues against criteria stricter than those required by law. Documents available for download in the "Tests" section.
Auricularia LONGEVITY is a 10:1 extract from the fruiting body, sealed in a vegan capsule without fillers, tested at EUROFINS. A short composition, with no compromises in the process.
More about the difference between the LONGEVITY and PRIME lines in the category description.
Auricularia in the LONGEVITY line was designed for a simple, everyday rhythm and the convenience of a capsule. It is most often chosen by people who:
prefer a convenient capsule to powder and value a repeatable, measured serving without brewing an infusion;
know the mun mushroom from Asian cooking and want to keep it on hand as a concentrated extract;
complement a varied diet with a functional-mushroom extract and value a transparent, short ingredient list;
are starting out with functional mushrooms and prefer a gentle, everyday line over an intensive protocol.
Honestly: every body is different and no honest producer will tell you what you will notice and when. The law forbids it, and we would not want to do it anyway. So instead of a promise we give you two things. A few hundred reviews from people who stayed with us after their first package. And a fair starting point: 90 days of daily regularity, because that is how you truly get to know functional mushrooms, not from a single cup. Your experience belongs to you. We answer for what is in the package.
Auricularia (Auricularia auricula-judae) is the mushroom known in Poland as the “mun mushroom” and, by its older name, as “wood ear” or “Judas’s ear”: a jelly-like, dark, ear-shaped fruiting body that grows on wood. In Chinese cooking it has been an ingredient for centuries.
For us it is a 10:1 extract sealed in a vegan capsule. We promise no effects; we give you a clean, well-described raw material and the context to decide for yourself how to use it.

Auricularia is my everyday mushroom, in the convenient form of a capsule.
I take three in the morning, washed down with water, with no brewing or measuring. I know the jelly-like mun mushroom from the Asian table; here I keep it on hand as a concentrated fruiting-body extract. In the clinic I reach for it when someone prefers a simple, repeatable routine over a daily infusion.
Extract from the Auricularia fruiting body (Auricularia auricula-judae) at a 10:1 ratio, 0.35 g per capsule. Capsule shell: plant-derived. Pack: 90 vegan capsules. No fillers, no maltodextrin, no magnesium stearate, 100% vegan.
Auricularia is among the mushrooms most thoroughly described in chemical and structural terms. The fruiting body owes its jelly-like, springy texture to a high content of polysaccharides and soluble fibre, and it is precisely these fractions that draw most of the attention from researchers of the raw material.
A review published in the “International Journal of Biological Macromolecules” (2024) gathered and organised the knowledge of the structural properties of Auricularia auricula polysaccharides: their architecture, molecular weight and the way the sugar chains arrange themselves in space.
The dominant family of molecules here are polysaccharides of complex architecture, including glucuronoxylomannans and β-glucans.
A second review in the “International Journal of Biological Macromolecules” (2020) discusses in detail their isolation and structural characterisation: how these compounds are extracted from the fruiting body and how their architecture is described at the molecular level (branching, linkages, conformation). These are works about the molecule itself and the methods used to study it, not about what it might “do” in the body.
Let us be honest: these are studies of the raw material and its molecules, most often conducted in the laboratory, not of our supplement. They do not show that auricularia is a medicine or that it resolves any health problem on its own; they show only what this mushroom is at the chemical level and how its polysaccharides are built.
A well-described composition is, for us, a reason to care about the quality and consistency of the extract, not a basis for health promises. Bibliographic data: PubMed.

We do not chase flashy slogans about what the mushroom “does”. We show the composition, the process and the origin, a short ingredient list and a clear extract ratio, and leave the conclusions to you.
In a tightly closed package, in a dry, cool and dark place, away from direct light. Protect from moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Shelf life is 24 months from opening.
Shake before use. Do not exceed the recommended daily serving. The product is not intended for children or for pregnant or breastfeeding women. A food supplement does not replace a varied and balanced diet. If in doubt, consult a doctor or therapist to choose the serving best suited to you.
Traditional Chinese Medicine
In Chinese tradition auricularia is called Mu Er (木耳), literally “tree ear”, after the distinctive, ear-shaped fruiting body that grows on the trunks and branches of broadleaf trees. It is one of the oldest and most recognisable mushrooms of Far-Eastern cooking and herbal lore; it appears in the classic materia medica records as a mild, widely used ingredient rather than a rare or “imperial” one.
In the TCM system of tastes and natures it was usually described as neutral in nature and mild, faintly sweet in taste, associated with the idea of fluidity and unobstructed movement within the body as it was understood in older terms. Its jelly-like, slippery texture was traditionally valued and, in old thinking, linked to moistening and softness; hence our PRZEPŁYW signature, a cultural reference rather than a description of any effect. This is the tradition that Mateusz, the founder of Aloha Fungi and a Doctor of Acupuncture (WFAS), works with day to day.
Treat this purely as cultural context, not as a scientific claim or a promise of any effect. TCM is a system of thought from millennia ago, using its own metaphorical language, not a description of physiology as we understand it today. Notions such as “flow” or “fluidity” belong to that older narrative and do not refer to any specific process in the body or to any organ. We draw on this tradition because it is part of the centuries-long story of the mun mushroom, not because it replaces modern knowledge or justifies any health promise.
Cultural context, not a scientific claim or promise of effect.
90-day ritual
First days
You take 3 capsules in the morning, washed down with a glass of water, on an empty stomach or with a gap from meals. Auricularia becomes a fixed point in your morning routine.
First weeks
You reach for the capsules on autopilot, without a reminder. A convenient, measured serving settles into your daily rhythm, with no brewing or measuring.
A 90-day cycle
That is how long the tradition gives you to observe any protocol or practice.
Reviews come from customers with a verified purchase and are moderated by the independent platform TrustMate. We do not publish opinions in exchange for benefits, nor do we alter their content.
We will not answer “what it does”, because auricularia is a food supplement, not a medicine. Promising an effect on specific diseases or bodily functions would be against the law. What we can honestly say is what auricularia is: a fruiting-body extract of the mun mushroom with a well-described composition, present in Far-Eastern cooking and tradition for centuries. What you make of that is up to you.
The recommended serving is 3 capsules a day, taken with water. They are best taken on an empty stomach or with a gap around meals, about 30 minutes before eating or 60 minutes after. You can split the daily serving across two moments in the day. Do not exceed the recommended daily serving, and go by whatever fits most easily into your routine.
LONGEVITY is the everyday, value line: a gentle entry into functional mushrooms, meant as a steady part of your diet. PRIME is a stronger, more concentrated variant for those who want a more intensive extract within a deliberate protocol. Both are built on the same raw material and the same care for quality; they differ in concentration and positioning. If you are just starting, choose LONGEVITY.
At Aloha Fungi we offer 3 forms of extract: powder, capsules and drops. The extract in powder and in capsules is the same. Capsules are vegan, the most convenient, but the least economical (the product weight is 20% lower than in the powder at the same price). Some of our clients have used both the powder and the drops; roughly half preferred the drops and half the powder. Choose the form that best fits your routine.
Yes. Mushrooms can be combined, each has its own time of day, e.g. Cordyceps in the morning, Reishi in the evening. That is why we sell them separately, so you can build your own plan. You can start with a single mushroom; we recommend 2-3 at once. Even one mushroom in your daily routine is better than none. Not sure which to choose? Take advantage of a free consultation.
A basic cycle lasts about 90 days, in Eastern tradition, that is how much time you give yourself to observe any new practice. After a full cycle you can assess whether the ritual fits your routine, and optionally reduce the serving. For prevention it is enough to take: 1-2 capsules a day 3-4x a week; 20 drops of tincture 3-4x a week; or 1-2 teaspoons of powder 3-4x a week. Consistency matters most.
Functional mushrooms are raw materials with a rich, well-documented composition: polysaccharides (including beta-glucans), phenolic compounds, terpenes, vitamins and bioelements. The fact that the composition can be described so precisely is, for us, a reason to care about the quality and consistency of the extract, not a basis for promises. We show what is in the raw material, the conclusions are yours to draw.
We do not have a crystal ball. A ritual with mushrooms is a long-term practice, not a one-off shot. In Eastern tradition the 90-day cycle is spoken of as the time in which you can first assess whether a given practice fits your routine. Some people feel good after just a few days, others need more time. Consistency matters most. Give yourself time and observe how your body responds.
A food supplement does not replace a varied diet or a healthy lifestyle. This product is not a medicinal product. Do not exceed the recommended daily serving. Not for use during pregnancy, breastfeeding, or by children. If in doubt, consult a doctor or pharmacist.
