100% fruiting body · 10:1 extract · Every batch lab-tested
The young fruiting bodies are slender, snow-white and covered with shaggy scales, with a delicate, mild flavour prized in cooking for centuries. It grows commonly in meadows and along roadsides, appearing quickly after rain, and is gathered before it undergoes autolysis. With age the cap dissolves into a black, inky liquid, hence the name shaggy ink cap; in our extract we work only with the young, white fruiting bodies.
We offer coprinus as a fruiting-body extract. Use it according to the serving stated on the package label, that is the source of the correct serving for the given product form. If you are just starting out, begin with a smaller serving at the lower end of the range and see how it suits you.
Dissolve the powder form in warm (not boiling) water, tea, coffee or cacao, or add it to a smoothie; the neutral character of coprinus makes it easy to work into everyday drinks. Take capsules with a glass of water.
Consistency matters most, it is an everyday addition, not a one-off “shot”. Coprinus suits a calm, steady daily rhythm. Do not exceed the recommended daily serving stated on the label.
A few hundred reviews, five stars, and we have only been collecting them for a few months. Ask why customers come back. The answer is simple and impossible to fake: what is inside the package is real. It has spirit. Most of the market sells the name on the label. We sell what truly stands behind that name.
We do not take the easy road most of the world takes: give people just anything, wrap it nicely, cash in. We are a family and a family business, and everything starts with who we are as people. We cannot lie. We would not sleep knowing we sold someone a lie hidden in clever words. We want to feed others only with what we choose for ourselves, the way a loving mum or grandma feeds you: with the best ingredient, with heart and attention, never with a lie. A large part of the market wants to profit at the customer's expense. We stand on the other side of that line. We do not want money that is not clean.
Nature creates to nourish us. It knows what it creates and why. In the intelligence of life there are no mistakes. The mistake appears only where man steps in, and there the road splits in two. You can put in heart and patience to draw out the essence of a plant or a mushroom. Or you can modify, disturb, dilute and lie, so it is cheaper and faster.
That is why the first question is not "which mushroom is this", but: who is selling it to you. Who stands behind the company, and with what intention. We show our face. Our intention is what we wrote above, and for us a greater cost than losing margin would be betraying life and disturbing its intelligence for profit. We want to work in harmony with life, respect its wisdom and let it lead. We want to be honest, humble and never stop learning.
We grow as a company, and out of respect for tradition we bring in technology, never the other way round. Our Chinese friends are family to us. At times we live with them, we listen, we learn. For Yi, mushrooms are the love of a lifetime. Yi has money, plenty of it, and sees no value in having more. The value lies elsewhere: in doing good and never ceasing to become better. We walk the same road. We develop technology guided by the heart, always with respect for the intelligence of nature.
We know that a meal from mum or grandma can nourish more deeply than fast food made of the same ingredients. We know it because the difference is love, quality and truth. Something that lies deeper than a product name.
We do not force anything out of the mushroom, convinced that we know better. The mushroom is an intelligence in itself. We listen to what it has to say, and we keep learning. That is why our motto is the technology of nature. We use the best extraction methods and develop them in a bow before the wisdom of nature, to which we keep saying: show us how to do this better.
You pay less and what you mostly get is filler: maltodextrin and mycelium grown on grain that has never seen a fruiting body.
Many of our customers tell their story with functional mushrooms in two chapters: the extracts before us, and the ones they reach for now. People rarely go back to the former. Our extract is made from the Coprinus fruiting body, not from mycelium on grain. A 10:1 extract. A calm, everyday addition designed for every day, for a full 90 days.
We work exclusively with the fruiting body, never the mycelium, of coprinus. Raw material carrying the EUROFINS laboratory-group quality mark, with every batch tested for, among other things, heavy metals and pesticide residues against criteria stricter than those required by law. We suggest a minimum of 90 days of regularity. In line with applicable food law, we do not publish information about effects or health benefits. What remains is what we take full responsibility for: a carefully selected, tested extract that people come back to.
This is where competitors usually list what Coprinus "does". We leave that space empty, and not because we have nothing to say. The law does not allow it, and we respect the law. If you want to know Coprinus as the old culinary tradition of Europe and Asia knew it, you will find it further down this page. The rest will be written by your 90 days, the shortest time we suggest to truly get to know functional mushrooms.
A number on the label can impress, but along the way the mushroom stops being a mushroom. What remains is an isolate, a molecule torn out of context. Our rule is different. A few things must be right before an extract goes into the package.

Fruiting body, not mycelium on grain
We work with the coprinus fruiting body, not with mycelium grown on rice or oats, where a large part of the final mass is starch from the substrate.
10:1 extract from the fruiting body
Ten kilograms of raw material yield one kilogram of extract, 0.35 g per capsule.
No carriers or fillers
No maltodextrin, no magnesium stearate and no other fillers. A plant-derived capsule shell (HPMC).
Every batch tested at EUROFINS
An independent laboratory. Purity: heavy metals and pesticide residues, against criteria stricter than those required by law. Documents available for download in the "Tests" section.
Coprinus LONGEVITY is a 10:1 fruiting-body extract, with no fillers and no maltodextrin. What the laboratory cannot measure, the body still recognises.
More about the difference between the LONGEVITY and PRIME lines in the category description.
Coprinus in the LONGEVITY line was designed for a calm, everyday rhythm. It is most often chosen by people who:
are building a steady daily routine and value its repeatability and predictability;
prefer a gentle, neutral-tasting addition to tea, coffee or a smoothie over sweet supplements;
complement a varied diet with a functional-mushroom extract and value a transparent composition;
are starting out with functional mushrooms and prefer a calm, everyday line over an intensive protocol.
Honestly: every body is different and no honest producer will tell you what you will notice and when. The law forbids it, and we would not want to do it anyway. So instead of a promise we give you two things. A few hundred reviews from people who stayed with us after their first package. And a fair starting point: 90 days of daily regularity, because that is how you truly get to know functional mushrooms, not from a single cup. Your experience belongs to you. We answer for what is in the package.
Coprinus (Coprinus comatus), the “shaggy ink cap”, has an unusual life story: young fruiting bodies are slim and snow-white, and as they age they dissolve themselves, “melting” into a black, ink-like liquid, which is how the mushroom earned its name.
For us it is a fruiting-body extract, designed as a calm, everyday addition.
We promise no effects, we give you a clean raw material and the context to decide for yourself how to use it.

Coprinus is my mushroom for quiet days.
Neutral taste, unhurried rhythm. In the clinic I give it to those who are looking for a simple, everyday ritual and do not want to build a complicated set right away.
Extract from the Coprinus fruiting body (Coprinus comatus) at a 10:1 ratio, 0.35 g per capsule. Capsule shell: plant-derived (HPMC). Pack: 90 vegan capsules. No fillers, no maltodextrin, no magnesium stearate. 100% vegan.
Coprinus comatus is well characterised in chemical terms as a fungal raw material. Among the compounds typical of this species, the literature describes above all polysaccharides, including the chitin-glucan complex and β-glucans, fractions characteristic of fungal cell walls, studied mainly for their molecular architecture.
It is precisely this chitin-glucan complex that draws most of the attention from researchers of the raw material. In a study published in the “International Journal of Biological Macromolecules” (2022) it was characterised physicochemically, describing, among other things, the proportions of the fractions, molecular weight and physical properties of the isolated material.
A second group worth mentioning is ergothioneine, a natural antioxidant present in many edible mushrooms; it is sometimes determined analytically as a natural constituent of the raw material, described at the chemical level.
Let us be honest: these are studies of the raw material and its molecules, most often conducted in the laboratory, not of our supplement. They do not show that coprinus is a medicine or that it resolves any health problem on its own; they show what this mushroom is at the chemical level. Characterising the composition is, for us, a reason to care about extract quality, not a basis for health promises. Bibliographic data: PubMed.

Many cheap “mushroom” products are in fact mycelium grown on rice or oats, with a high content of starch from the substrate. We work with a 10:1 extract from the coprinus fruiting body.
Our raw material carries the EUROFINS laboratory-group quality mark, and every batch is tested for, among other things, heavy metals and pesticide residues against criteria stricter than those required by law.
We do not chase flashy slogans about what the mushroom “does”. We show the composition, the process and the origin, and leave the conclusions to you.
In a tightly closed package, in a dry, cool and dark place, away from direct light. Protect from moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Shelf life is 24 months from opening.
Do not exceed the recommended daily serving. The product is not intended for children or for pregnant or breastfeeding women. A food supplement does not replace a varied and balanced diet. If in doubt, consult a doctor or therapist.
Traditional Chinese Medicine
Coprinus does not belong to the classic canon of the great Far-Eastern mushrooms in the way reishi or shiitake do, its story is first and foremost European and Asian, and culinary. The shaggy ink cap has long been gathered across Europe and Asia as a seasonal edible mushroom; people prized the delicate young fruiting bodies, which must be cooked quickly before they begin to self-digest. In kitchens and local customs it appeared as a simple, nourishing ingredient rather than a ritual herb. This is the tradition of functional mushrooms that Mateusz, the founder of Aloha Fungi and a Doctor of Acupuncture (WFAS), works with day to day.
Treat this purely as cultural and culinary context, not as a scientific claim or a promise of any effect. Old customs of gathering and eating mushrooms are part of the species’ story, not a description of physiology as we understand it today. We draw on this context because it belongs to the biography of coprinus, not because it replaces modern knowledge.
Cultural context, not a scientific claim or promise of effect.
90-day ritual
First days
You start with a smaller serving, at any time of day, following the label. Coprinus enters your routine as a calm, everyday addition.
First weeks
You reach for it on autopilot, folded into a morning infusion or an afternoon ritual. What matters most is repeatability.
A 90-day cycle
A full ninety days. In Eastern tradition, this is how much time you give yourself to observe any protocol or practice.
Reviews come from customers with a verified purchase and are moderated by the independent platform TrustMate. We do not publish opinions in exchange for benefits, nor do we alter their content.
We will not answer “what it does”, because coprinus is a food supplement, not a medicine, promising an effect on specific diseases or bodily functions would be against the law. What we can honestly say is what coprinus is: a fruiting-body extract from a mushroom with a well-described composition, long known in European and Asian cooking. What you make of that is up to you.
That is a purely botanical curiosity. Young coprinus fruiting bodies are white, slim and covered in characteristic shaggy scales. As the mushroom ages it undergoes autolysis: the gills and cap gradually dissolve, turning into a black, ink-like liquid. In the past this liquid was sometimes used as a makeshift ink, hence the name “shaggy ink cap”. In the extract we of course work with raw material from young, still-white fruiting bodies.
LONGEVITY is the everyday, value line, a gentle entry into functional mushrooms, meant as a steady part of your diet. PRIME is a stronger, more concentrated variant for those who want a more intensive extract within a deliberate protocol. Both are built on the same raw material and the same care for quality; they differ in concentration and positioning. If you are just starting, choose LONGEVITY.
A food supplement does not replace a varied diet or a healthy lifestyle. This product is not a medicinal product. Do not exceed the recommended daily serving. Not for use during pregnancy, breastfeeding, or by children. If in doubt, consult a doctor or pharmacist.
