Polyporus

Zhu Ling has been in TCM formulas for centuries, yet it barely exists in European awareness. It is the species I discuss most often with therapists and almost never with clients, and I suspect that is because of what sits inside it: polyporusterones A-G, sterols you will not find in any other of our twelve, and a beta-glucan-peptide complex described as PPS. It has a fixed place in my day, in the morning and at noon, never in the evening.
