How the extract is made
Six decisions taken before the extract reaches the jar. None of them show on the label, and every one changes what goes into the jar.
Strain and substrate
Every species has dozens of cultivated strains. We work with growers who select strains for their metabolite profile, not for harvest tonnage. Wood-based substrates, regions with CERES organic certification. Always the fruiting body, never mycelium on grain.
Harvest moment
The fruiting body is picked at peak maturity, just before it releases spores. You cannot see this decision in the finished powder, you can see it in the batch test.
Multi-fraction extraction
Each group of compounds is extracted under its own optimal conditions: polysaccharides in hot water, triterpenoids in alcohol, heat-sensitive compounds at low temperature. The fractions are combined only at the end, in one extract.
The 80/20 balance
80% extract for concentration, 20% fruiting body powder so the mushroom stays a mushroom: fiber, melanins, amino acids, trace elements. No maltodextrin.
Marker standardization
Each species has its own markers. Reishi: beta-glucans and ganoderic acids. Lion's Mane: beta-glucans, hericenones, erinacines. Cordyceps: cordycepin and adenosine.
Batch testing and COA
Every batch tested at an independent laboratory: beta-glucans by the Megazyme K-YBGL method, ganoderic acids by HPLC, heavy metals by ICP-MS, pesticides, microbiology per the EU pharmacopoeia. A COA for every batch.
The same name on the label, two different things
The mushroom name is not a description of the product. Four places where two powders at the same price can part ways.

What is multi-fraction extraction?
Each group of compounds in a mushroom extracts best under different conditions. Polysaccharides prefer hot water, triterpenoids prefer alcohol, and hericenones start degrading above 50°C. A single universal extraction process is always a compromise: a little of everything, not much of anything.
PRIME is made differently. We combine several extract fractions, each obtained under conditions optimal for its group of compounds. One capsule delivers the sum of specialist extracts, not the average of a compromise.

This line exists so that it can be recommended with a clear conscience. Hence fruiting bodies instead of mycelium, extraction matched to the species, standardisation on markers and a COA with every batch. The technology is overseen by Yi, our technologist, in the industry since 2007. You can buy this line without a practice, but it was written for those who need to know what they are giving.
