A mushroom for the nervous system. Hericenones, erinacines and the current state of knowledge on cognition.
Practitioner's note
While writing my e-book on mushroom supplementation, I spent more time on lion's mane than on any of our twelve species. Hericenones and erinacines are the compounds around which most of today's solid research revolves. In my own ritual I take lion's mane around noon, when I need full concentration and my mind is running at high revs. It is not without reason that lion's mane has come to be called food for the brain.
